10 weeks

Dan is making fun that they compare the baby to a fruit that people have not really seen or heard of before.  Has anyone see or eaten a "kumquat"?  I have not, but I'm sure I could find one in Bloomington.  This is an amazing city for its size.

Sometimes it is amazing to think that I'm pregnant because I do not have 3/4 of what they say I should be experiencing and I think that is a good thing.  My nausea has subsided a lot and it wasn't bad in the first place.  Work smells still get me, but they would get anyone who wasn't a nurse.  Last night my heart was pounding hard and fast in my ears.  That was a bit difficult because I was so tired and just wanted to sleep.

My only big complaint is that my stomach is so bloated that I cannot wear my normal pants.  Thank goodness I wear scrubs to work!  When I start taking belly photos I'll look a lot bigger than what the baby actually is.  They say I should start showing soon, so we'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks.  I also read the baby is going to start tripling in size.  I have a feeling this pregnancy is going to fly by, but we'll see what I say at 8 months.

I had a great conversation with a great friend who is due 16 days before me with her 2nd baby!  She is filling me in about all the small things.  I told her I should really buy a book, but it's so nice to hear her perspective and opinions.  Thanks Friend!!

  2. I did not enjoy pregnancy and am always jealous of those who had it easy. Well, like 90% happy and 10% jealous. :)
