12 weeks

I guess this is the last week of my first trimester.  All the online sources that I have been reading, because I still haven't purchased a baby book, state that the baby is done forming all parts, so now he/she has to grow in the next 28 weeks!  That is amazing!

I wrote yesterday about how tired I have been.  I am thankful to have a schedule that allows for sleep once in a while.

I have also been able to enjoy food more than before, though I have not gain any weight yet.  The only issue with food is that I still feel as if I ate Thanksgiving dinner even after a bowl of cereal.  I guess I have to slow down with eating and eat less and more often.  That is not easy with a crazy schedule, but I'm trying.  I heard that this feeling of fullness only gets worse as the baby grows and there is no room for food in the stomach.

I continue to thank Jesus for this amazing blessing.  Most of you know that I was told that I could not get pregnant without having surgery.  I was on fertility meds, herbs, and everything else for a while, but had given up a bit and that is when it happened....no intervention except God's perfect timing!  I have a lot of specific prayers for this little one that maybe a few of you would snicker at, but overall, I'm praying for a baby that would bring glory to God and have a great impact on this world, for what else is our purpose on this earth than to spread the good news of Jesus and God's amazing love!  AMEN!
