Julian is sick for the first time. I was hoping that exclusively breastfeeding would prevent this. I knew this sick day would come, but it's sad to watch him cough and sneeze. He has been so restless for the past few nights and then yesterday he was hoarse and started sneezing and coughing. Last night he was up every hour with coughing and sneezing...thus I didn't get much sleep. He thankfully isn't congested and is eating well. I'll have to buy some saline nose drops in case he becomes plugged up. I tried bulb syringing (is that a word?) his nose, but it seems to be in the back of his throat.
The sickness doesn't seem to affect him much since he woke up cheery and kicking up a storm. What a crazy little guy!
I plan on staying in my PJs today and cuddling with my little one :) I hope to get a nap too!
