Every day there is something new

Julian is growing by leaps and bounds and I could write every day about something that he's done that is new.

Blue Whale (he was obsessed in his bath with these words and his blue whale bath toy)

Hugs and Kisses:
He now will give us, his friends, dogs, and his stuffed animals hugs and kisses.  It's the cutest thing and I'm just loving how squeezable he is.  He hugs them tightly around the neck and then pats them gently.  I'll have to see if my neighbor got a picture of him hugging the big dogs.

Sick:
Yup, J and I are sick with bad colds.  For some reason I tried to not nurse him last night (I didn't know he was sick) and he was awake until 3am before I caved.  I couldn't believe he was wide awake.  Happy sometimes, other times crying.  When I figured out that he was sick in the early morning hours, I felt terrible for trying to withhold milk from him when he wasn't feeling well.

We were miserable today.  He was so clingy and whiny and I just wanted to get a few things done, but was sleep deprived and feeling run down with my cold.  My patience was thin, but thankfully Dan was here to help.

Julian LOVES being outside, so we just took him out a lot!  He ate dirt for the first time...silly guy. He loves the kids that hang out in our courtyard.  We went to the big park and he loved to swing and go down the slides.
