Well, I made it through one entire pregnancy and almost the first trimester of the second pregnancy without vomiting, but nope.
Warning: The rest is about me puking so stop reading if necessary.
I have been feeling so much better this last week, but at night I feel a bit sickly but not nauseous. It's Labor Day here in NZ so Dan was home and we invited friends over for an All-American HUGE brunch. I made waffles (sides: syrup, whipped cream, blueberries, raspberries, & powdered sugar), breakfast casserole with eggs and sausage, hash brown bites, bacon, coffee date cake and orange slices (something had to be healthy). We feasted and I was so pleased since I LOVE big breakfasts.
They stayed for a couple of hours and then the boys were so tired so we parted ways and I just rested while Julian slept.
Then we were invited to the botanical gardens and Julian and I played in the sun and walked up a steep hill and back. When we got back at 5pm I thought it would be good for us to eat since we hadn't eaten since 10am. I warmed up the food, Julian began to eat and then I told Dan I couldn't and that I needed to lie down. I felt like my chest was heavy and squishing my heart and was a bit short of breath even though I was lying in bed. I just felt so off. Dan checked on me 20 minutes later, I sat up and ran to the bathroom and the rest is history. The problem is that I vomited my entire brunch. How could it be sitting in my stomach for 8 hours? Things are not moving and no wonder my stomach looks like 20-30 weeks sometimes.
Now I'm convinced I'm having a girl ;) Just kidding.
I'm so excited to hear the heartbeat tomorrow and see the peanut on Thursday!!!
