| 29 weeks and 2 days |
I feel as if I should write things down when they happen so I don't forget, such as baby started hiccuping almost daily starting last week. It is so cute except one time they seemed to so violent I just rubbed him and told him that it would be ok. Poor little guy.
"Brutus" is taking up as much room as he pleases and I just can't imagine him growing bigger. He feels big now and I have 11 weeks (give or take) left! People are really starting to make comments about my belly and I'm enjoying telling others about him and watching their faces as he tries to greet the world by rolling around, kicking, and distorting my abdomen to the right (as he always has).
Dan has been talking to him a lot and he responds with rolls and kicks. He was kicking him in the face which was really funny. I told Dan that he needs to read to him and he asked if it could be Latin. I said he can read anything, I just want baby to know his voice.
I had a really hard night at work on Wednesday and then Thursday night was good, but my back was in the worst pain that it has in a long time. I thankfully was able to go to physical therapy yesterday and she massaged my back/hips and taped me up for the week. I'm hoping that my back will be strong again before Sunday night. It is really feast or famine at work and you never know what you're going get.
Dan, baby, and I are listening to Rockabye baby music on Spotify to see which albums we'd like in the car :) Ha ha...the Greenday, U2, Madonna (yes I like her), Smashing Pumpkins, and many more are only a few of our favorites.
Today our doula came over and stayed a couple hours to talk about how things are going and the plan for the rest our time together. We'll meet at the beginning of March and hash out a birthing plan. I already have a good idea of what that will look like, but I'm excited to have her support and knowledge to help us make some decisions.
I also am having a baby shower today by a few friends from church. I'm so happy that they thought of me and the woman who is hosting is so amazing at entertaining! I am excited to celebrate this amazing life!
