Well, yesterday the doctor said it was ok for me to keep using the hydrocortisone cream on Julian's eczema, especially after seeing his face after 2 days of not using it...poor guy. We also got the go ahead to use Benadryl at night for the itching. I hope this works.
My poor guy is fighting a nasty cold. I don't know where he keeps picking them up. Kids are just germ magnets and I'm thinking of keeping him away from people as much as possible because he is miserable and I am getting it...again. It's not worth it. I can call people, hold him during church, not let him play with other kid's toys, etc. I don't want to isolate myself, but he can barely breathe.
One good thing is that Dan was out late last night for a conference and dinner, so I held Julian at bedtime so he could get a quick nap before picking Dan up. He got to bed at 9:30 and slept and slept. It was a great night. I was worried because he barely ate; he couldn't breathe enough to eat and was a bit listless.
Today he took an hour and a half nap! Wow! Then I was watching him in the monitor and he was just lying there for 20 min quite contently. What? My poor baby must be really sick. He also looked me in the eyes while I was holding him (he never does this) and is a cuddly monster (I like that). I do want my healthy guy back though!
