18 week: strong kicks, BHs, and date night

I was 18 weeks on Sunday and the baby is going crazy with kicking.  S/he woke me up last night by crawling to the upper corner of my uterus and then started stretching and kicking.  S/he walked across my stomach and it was just amazing.  I love that feeling.

I have been having Braxton Hicks again for weeks now, but I was in denial about them.  I just didn't worry about them with Julian, and I'm not really this time, I just don't like that they last so long.  I had some flash backs to the start of my labor and I'm just not quite ready to give birth...though I definitely have popped.

Dan and I went out on our 3rd (?) date since Julian has been born and our first in Dunedin.  It was a very fancy place.  We were given a gift certificate when we bought our car (6 months ago) and we finally got a babysitter and went out.  It was great.  J sleeps all night now so it isn't a big deal at all, but we're so thankful to our friend for coming over and taking time from her family to help us out.

I fit in my Calvin Klein dress...barely and was able to wear my favorite heels.  I also hooked up my hair straightener to the transformer and did my hair for the first time in 6+ months :)
