20 weeks--half way

I was 20 weeks this past Sunday and am feeling great!  The midwife came yesterday (Monday) and we had a great chat about prepping for birth.  We listened to the baby's heartbeat again and then Julian wanted to listen to his too with the doppler.  My midwife is so good to him.  My blood pressure was quite low 86/60, so I started pumping the water down.  It's been cold lately and I find that I have a harder time drinking water when I'm cold.  I also had to check for glucose and protein in my urine and it was negative.  I was surprised since I've been eating a lot of sugar with Christmas chocolate, cookies, candy, etc.

Yesterday was our only warm day in a week and it's rainy and cold on this Christmas Eve day.  We're about to start out on our camping trip in a couple of days and I just hope it gets warmer (it's officially summer now) and stays dry.  I just tell myself that the rain will help make memories for J's first camping trip.

Baby is kicking up a storm and J has felt him a few times.  Dan has felt him, but usually he stops kicking a lot when daddy tries to feel.  It's Dan's calming nature I think.  :)

I'm still craving vegetables and salad.  I'll eat meat, but it's just not "good".  I'm definitely hungrier and I'm just trying to stay away from all the Christmas junk food in our house.  Oh well, it's just a couple of weeks.

Well, Merry Christmas!!!!
