36 weeks plus: Baby Flipped!
I had my midwife appointment yesterday after a crazy day. I was pretty stressed by the time she arrived but my blood pressure was the same as always (110/70). I asked her to feel the baby right away and can you believe it, he flipped! Baby is head down!!
I was actually in denial. I had this whole speech planned and questions for every minute detail concerning him being breech. I actually felt like she was just telling me that he was head down to make me feel better. silly me. I just wanted the ultrasound or something to confirm it, but she said she was 99% sure.
I have now accepted it and am very excited, though I was getting nervous with his movements last night. He was very active and I didn't want him to flip again. I think he likes all the room his legs have now and he's just taking advantage of the space while he has some.
So, I'm now on weekly appointments, we've gone over ever part of labor, birth and aftercare, so it's just focusing on having this little one and trusting God it will go well with a great result! I can't wait to hold that little baby in my arms.
Oh, I did spill a lot of glucose in my urine but she said I can wait until next week to see if it is still high to not have to do the 3 hr test again with a 12 hour fast. I did eat a lot of sugar this week with Julian's bday :) Now I'll have to stay away from Easter candy. Good thing we didn't buy any.
