25 weeks

The end of a long day.

I am 25 weeks today and I almost missed this post.  I was a bit bummed that I didn't capture a photo last week, but it was just too hectic with finishing up my busy work schedule and going to Philadelphia.  We had a wonderful time there seeing friends and family!  Dan didn't get to tour much since he was busy with the conference, but I enjoyed spending time with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and niece!  We walked a lot and my right, lower abdomen and right ankle were hurting a lot.  All though I had that pain, it really felt good to get out into a big city and walk, especially since there was a lot to see.

Today I had another ultrasound and appointment with my midwife.  Dan's parents are here, so I asked if his mom would like to see the ultrasound.  Unfortunately baby boy was facing toward my back and only let us see his spine.  They didn't get a good picture of his heart, so I felt a bit down since he wasn't as active and rolling as he usually is.  I worked nights last night, so I must have worn him out.  He sure was active after the ultrasound :)  ha ha...that's how it goes...we have a stubborn one on our hands!

My stats:
131.8 lbs (oh man!)  My midwife said my weight is fine, so that was good.
24" fundal height
101/63 BP

Baby's heart rate 139

I'm feeling well despite my back after work.  My physical therapist says my progress is going so well, but that work is hindering all my progress.  That's frustrating.  I love my job, but I am still considering cutting back a bit.  Teaching is great; I can sit whenever I want.  Main things, I really don't have a taste for meat.  I'll eat it, but I could for sure be a vegetarian at this point.  Chunks of meat really gross me out.  I didn't know the food aversions happen so late in pregnancy.  Well, I'm off to bed since my in-laws will surely rise early.
