I'd have to look back at my earlier posts to know when I started getting BH contractions. I know I got them early and that they made me nervous since I wasn't far enough along to be having a baby. I realized that they are mostly from not drinking enough water, but I've been pretty good ever since.
Last night at 3:30am I was having a lot of BH contractions, but I wasn't timing them, for about an hour. They were hurting, which isn't suppose to happen. I knew they were irregular, so that was good. I ended up getting some water and drinking over 1/2 a liter. I couldn't get into a comfortable position and baby did not like being smooshed, so he'd kick around when they would let up. Dan prayed for us and we slept the rest of the morning.
I was suppose to work tonight, but got called off, though I'm on call for the rest of the night. We decided to go for a walk and I had 7 contractions from 2-7 min apart. BHs are usually relieved with rest or repositioning, but it's kind of hard to do on a walk. I got home and drank almost a liter of water again and they have subsided.
I know they are completely normal, but I cannot help but think that he might come early. The other thing is that I have been very laid back this whole pregnancy, but it makes me wonder if he is getting oxygenated properly with those intense squeezes. I was reminded that he's floating in a bag of water, so I'm sure he's fine. He's been kicking all evening, so that is reassuring. I love this guy and cannot wait to meet him, but let's hold out for one more week...full term is 37 weeks!
