I told you before that I have not had a nesting urge at all and just the thought of going down to the basement to even sort or wash clothes overwhelmed me to the point of anxiety. Well, after our birthing class yesterday, which went quite well, I sorted some of the clothes last night. Today I removed all the tags and sorted them to wash and am actually amazed at how many clothes I have. That one lady from Craigslist gave me so much and friends have purchased such cute clothes and blankets, that is is very enjoyable to go through and remember how thoughtful people are.
Rachel, a good friend here in Bloomington, is coming over next week to help me sort the clothes by real size and not tag size since they vary so much. I have a feeling that since it's spring break, I may get a head start and get a lot done. I'm taking what energy I have and am using it to my advantage while I can, especially since this is my last week of 3 shifts/week at the hospital.
I'll have to take a picture of all the clothes, blankets, burp clothes, shoes, socks, and bibs that I have. It's crazy and I didn't even purchase that much. Thank you all for being such a blessing to this little baby and his parents!
