hyper

Well, Julian is just like they say... resilient!  Last night before bed, all he wanted to do was have us hold him while he jumped.  I couldn't believe it.  Was he excited to be rid of the pain or was the medicine making him feel that good?  He was a WILD man and very hyper.  Thankfully he nursed to sleep, but he was restless last night, especially after I gave him his lortab dose in the middle of the night.  He got a dose again at 10 this morning and refused to take a nap until 1.  Narcotics make my baby hyper, who knew!  Maybe this is like benadryl; I learned in nursing school that it can actually cause kids to be hyperactive instead of sleepy.  We won't try this on our plane trip!

He's still sleeping, no thanks to the neighbor kids who are playing in the snow.  Do they think they can just play whenever they feel like it during Christmas break?  When does school start back up? kidding!  Thankfully I bought a sound machine that is AWESOME and blocks out their kidness!

It snowed again last night and with Julian being all hyper, I really didn't want to take him out (he wants to be in our arms, but not snuggling, jumping and crazy), so Dan's shopping for a few things that he needs before the conference.  I'm jealous because I'm a bit stir crazy and wish I would put that energy to use, such as cleaning the bathroom(s) or doing more laundry.  Instead I just caught up on the honest toddler blog that I love!

Ok, now I'm off to do something!
