Julian's 6 month doctor's appointment was today. Our pediatrician was out of town, so we saw the nurse practitioner and a student NP. Julian did pretty well, but is having some stranger anxiety. He just stared them down and they commented, like everyone else, "he's so alert" "he's so attentive".
He wasn't very smiley. We're both fighting some lingering cold. They still gave him his vaccines and the flu shot. I was disappointed to hear that I have to go in to give another flu shot in a month. I didn't realize this and J's legs hate shots. Thankfully, we're able to give him ibuprofen now, so hopefully the inflammation stays at bay and he can rest and be cuddled today without serious pain.
Here are his stats:
Height 28.75" (>97%)--super tall like the Thomaes and Oslands
Weight 17lb 15oz (50%)
Head 44cm (50-75%)
gross motor development is measuring at 9 months
