21 weeks and 2 days

My boy was 14 oz on Monday :)

This was a great week!  We found out we're having a boy and get to say "he" instead of "it" or "baby"!  I have done some shopping.  It was my first week of break from school, but I did have papers to grade.  And best of all, my baby boy is kicking so much that you can see my abdomen move.  I was at a two hour lecture that was boring and he kept me awake the entire time.  Dan felt him a lot yesterday evening!

My back was feeling pretty great for most of the week until I did laundry yesterday.  Somehow the bending at the waist was not good, but thankfully Dan did all the lifting from the basement up 2 flights of stairs.  I work the next two nights, so I'm hoping it holds out till the weekend.

I am in denial that Christmas is right around the corner.  I haven't decorated the apartment or ordered any cards to send out this season.  I may have to do the New Year cards like I did one year.  Knowing that I'm not going to see family probably puts me in denial that it's Christmas time.  The 50 degree weather with rain probably doesn't help this Wisconsin girl know it's the season either.

Well, I'm off to sleep this rainy day away so I can work tonight.  We'll let you know when we pick a name, but there are about dozen that we aren't in a hurry to pick through yet.  Indiana is probably our first choice ;)
