In an earlier post I mentioned how active baby boy is, but that is an understatement compared to now. I don't know if it was all the chocolate and sugar I ate at work during Christmas or just that I have a BOY growing in my tummy. Anyway, I love feeling him move and am just shocked at how amazing it is that a little creature is growing ever so quickly and is alive in there.
The only down side is that he favors my right side. He has put a lot of pressure on my muscles and lower ribs. Yesterday I pushed him tot he left because I could not stretch or get comfortable and then he went crazy. Dan said I hurt him and I actually felt badly for a moment, but then laughed. The little guy just likes my liver. My ribs have been hurting so much lately too. I actually blamed the baby at first, but then realized that everything is too tight and that I needed to shop.
Today Dan left for Fargo, ND for his cousin's wedding. I'm sad I couldn't go with him, but I'm glad that I don't have to wrestle the cold weather up there. After dropping him off at the airport, I did a little shopping in Indy and got some great deals. Now hopefully my rib pain will go away.
My back is doing well. I have not pursued going down to two shifts a week, but I sort of wish I had before this upcoming weekend. I'm working 5 out of 6 days :( I am not excited about this and I am hoping that my back holds out for all that work. I seem to do great with one or two shifts now! My generous friend Christina was very thoughtful and got me an aromatherapy back warming/cooling pad and I've used it almost every night! Thank you!!
