So you all know I've been bragging about my online shopping deals of things on Craigslist and Ebay. I know that some of you are not into this, but I have had such a great experience that I got a little careless.
First of all I met an amazing woman who gave me a HUGE box of baby boy clothes that are really nice! I probably have 20 bibs, all the socks I'd ever need, 3 robes, and more than enough sleepers, onesies, gowns, blankets,...yes the list goes on. She gave it to me for FREE and I was shocked. She also told me that she would love to give me more stuff as our babies grow. The last thing that was shocking is she that she told me to take what I don't use or am done with to Once Upon a Child and they'll give me store credit. I asked her why she didn't do that herself and she said she just wanted to donate them to someone who could use them. She was such a great resource for what is available in Bloomington; I love the community here. And yes, I think I might see her again and have coffee (decaf tea for me).
Well, I've had such great experiences that I met someone today to buy 3 boxes of unopened diapers. They looked like teenagers and they were all smoking. The diapers are all sealed in the box, so I bought them, but the car smelled so awful on the way home, I had to open the windows. They are now airing out on the porch, but it was still a good deal. I just got so wrapped up in my good experiences, I forgot to ask about smoke free and pet free houses. I'm not disappointed with the purchase, but saddened that a little life is living with 4 youngsters who seem to have no clue. This brings me back to infertility issues and why it doesn't seem fair that irresponsible people can always get pregnant. Ok, I'm judging, so I'll stop. Lesson 1: always keep your game face on when it comes to Craigslist.
