It's a BOY!

Wow, we're having a BOY!  I love being able to say he!  There was just an overwhelming sense of peace just knowing, though that little stinker didn't quite cooperate today.  They didn't get to see his heart, so they want to do another ultrasound to ensure that it's ok.  If not, they would want me to go to Indianapolis to deliver, but, let's not get ahead of ourselves.  He was very active; putting his hand by his mouth, grabbing his foot, and kicking me (and the ultrasound tech and midwife).  I guess he didn't like his space invaded too much :)

The rest of the appointment went well.  My midwife asked about my back and she is going to contact the physical therapist and I may cut back one of my shifts.  We'll see.  I just feel like a burden at work that I cannot do all the lifting, pulling, straining, etc. that a nurse's job entails.  I feel lazy, but thankfully everyone is very understanding!

My stats: 126lbs (I was shocked it was that low since I've been eating a TON!).  HR 131 by the ultrasound tech.  I'm 20 weeks and 4 days, but he measured big: 21 weeks and 4 days.  They aren't going to change my due date, but I'm wondering if he'll be a big baby like Dan was (7 lbs 11oz...ouch!).

I got 10 photos, but I'll post a few.  I'm going to save the boy's dignity and not post the boy shot.  The photos aren't the best quality, but it's still my baby and he's the cutest 20 week baby in the whole wide world!  ah ha hahahha hah!!!
